It is good to be writing to you again. I have been silent for so long that many of you have had to write me to make sure that you have not missed a release. You have not. This is the first release since the harvest release last year.

I have had wonderful colleagues this Spring. Together we have done a better job than ever bringing the wines to bottle. The result is a selection of wines that makes me very proud. Pictured at left is the tank from which we bottled the 2007 Naucratis. It went very well, its excellence enhanced by the team of happy cats.

You will see that I have prepared a special allocation for members of the mailing list who have purchased wine before. There is now enough interest in the project so that it is not clear whether any wine will be available for first-time buyers . I would like to be able to offer some wine to the eager new initiates, so I am asking you to place your order by the end of the day on Monday, June 9. That way I will know whether any wine remains, or whether you all have snatched it all up. Wines will remain available through the restaurants and wine shops that have supported the project from the beginning.

Please note two innovations: I have put together a single allocation package for all of you. I have done this for the sake of simplicity and fairness. More on that when you view the package itself. I have also decided to recommend that we ship all wines no sooner than October 1. Please note on the checkout that you may request shipment any time after June 24, but you must do so explicitly.
