It is not hostility but dystopia that breeds the strong language to the left. We here at the Scholium Project are completely up to date, modern, 21st century. We don't use soap at the winery, yet we proclaim this sub-medieval practice through the medium of the world wide web. A camera phone tracks every move at the winery.
Yet Facebook and Twitter remain foreign to us. At the instigation of numerous experts, I am learning to use them. I am abandoning my past practice of posting infrequent updates on the website in favor of much more frequent, but still sporadic, posts and (good god!) tweets. We will see how this new practice works out. The site will still be a repository of information-- notes on each wine, perhaps summary notes on each vintage—and will be where you go to buy wines directly from us. But you will not go there to see where we are feasting or which Verdelho we are bringing in that day. You will follow these importand developments through other means.
