We tasted with you on Thursday, at your mountain off-site. The tasting began well, with some politeness on your part and diffidence on mine, but after someone asked me how you could really tell a crap vineyard from a serious one without even getting out of the car, things warmed up.

And then the wines began to speak for themselves, rather than through a shirt-collared intermediary.
