Scholium Project

I am glad to say that I have been able to reserve some wine for those of you who have never purchased wine from us before.
I have composed a selection of bottles from the new release and the two best wines from the last two releases. Together, these wines will give you an panoptic introduction to the Scholium Project. Nothing is omitted. Except perhaps the skin-fermented Pinot Grigios.
Here is your allocation:

The total number of bottles is 6; the total cost is $368.00.

This selection shows you almost every aspect of our winemaking, from the Collio-influenced skin-fermented and rather oxidized whites, to the all-American, beautifully rich and extracted reds. I have included one highly-allocated wine, the Chardonnay from Guman called The Sylphs.

I am asking you to purchase this whole package precisely because it represents every aspect of the Project so well. It is the complete and perfect introduction. I know that offering a fixed package places a burden on my customers, but I have thought long and hard about this and have decided that this is the best way to bring the work of the Project to you. I know that this method is common at other wineries, but I know even better that few other wineries offer such a varied selection of slightly odd wines. How can you know whether you wish to acquire a bottle of barrel-fermented Verdelho? This is my thinking: though I produce many different wines, the Scholium Project is not a wine store or cafeteria of exotic wines. It is a single endeavor—a single project. In order to be part of it, you must get on board. Not pick and choose. (My friends who are retailers have pointed out that they will be delighted to let you pick and choose. I will happily refer you to them if necessary.)

I hope that this appeals to you. I am eager to get the wines in the hands of more entusiasts. I should mention that your purchase of this allocation will entitle you to future allocations, and will allow you to order additional bottles of your allocated wines, as long as I still have some for you.
